Haka Team Building
The Haka is a Māori dance that originated from an ancient tribal war dance. The Māori used it to frighten their enemies on the battlefield. Nowadays, the Haka is used in a variety of initiatives, particularly in sporting arenas. The ‘All Blacks’, the New Zealand rugby team, are famous for performing this dance before every important match.
Haka Team Building is an activity that serves as a motivational activity for the team, as a show of hospitality and welcome to a place or also as an intimidating dance. During Haka Team Building you will perform your own Haka, rehearse it with a team of specialised choreographers and show it to the rest of the participants. The choreography consists of body percussion and war chants, all performed as a group.
